Forming
a Lentil Shaped Bead From a Bicone

|
Shape a
bicone bead. Swirl color by repeatedly rolling the bead in one direction
in the
bead roller.
Do
not turn the bead when placing back at the start of the bead roller
to re-roll, or it will “unroll” the
design.
Roll
the bead until you are satisfied with
the pattern.
|
|
|
|
Sit the
bicone bead, point down on a flat surface, hold it up by placing a
flat object over the other point.
A
square of Plexiglas was used in this illustration. Apply slight downward
pressure.
|
|
|
|
Rotate Plexiglas
over the bead with gentle downward and circular pressure. Use the Plexiglas
or other flat tool to do the shaping.
With
the flat tool close to the edge of the now lentil shaped bead you can
pierce your
bead while it is still between the tool and your work surface. This
prevents getting fingerprints on the bead.

for curing!
