These Pins are 3-1/2 Inches long and are very near the same diameter as 20 gauge wire. Pierce a bead , then suspend it on the Pro Bead Rack. Each of our Pro Bead Creation Roller sets is supplied with a tube of about 20 piercing pins. These pins are made of hardened steel and are very sharp. They do need some protection from moisture. Polymer clay sticks to it during the curing process. To remove the bead, hold the pin with a pair of pliers and twist the bead. It is so much easier to add texture to a bead, or reshape it while handling it by the pin! Some pins are also provided with the Pro Bead Rack. Polymer clay is the clay primarily used here at Poly-Tools, Inc., but other clay mediums can be used successfully with our bead rollers. Your satisfaction is guaranteed with all of our products!
