All three work the same, each one makes different size logs and mark them in different widths. This purchase will help you roll 6 different diameters, and mark them with 6 different line widths, they work interchangeably.
Other than making tube beads, the obvious function of tube bead rollers, they are also useful for rolling lentil shaped beads to a specific thickness, using a roller top. Check

The base for each set has raised lines a specific distance apart on each side and can be used for marking lines, or lined patterns in clay (see picture above). While hands are the very best for rolling a log, using a tube bead roller top can refine it to a specific height, and eliminate finger marks. Tube bead roller tops can also help flatten any bead to a specific thickness, flatten, or square up a round or oval bead.
Tube bead roller tops will help you roll specific sized logs to add as cane elements, or to help get a cane reduced to the height of one of the roller tops. The picture above of the polymer clay quilt cane shows how the roller tops can assist getting specific size logs, round or square.
